i have a 2007 kawasaki kx 250f and i know where my carb is but i do not know where my idle screw is and i do not know wich way to turn it. my engine sounds chuggy so i Squeeze the throttle and watch the slide go up. The screw that it stops against when it goes back down is the idle adjustment screw.

You could control the idle of the truck's engine from an outside control panel. With this I could pull it on to fast idle with the hand throttle and then go about my business without the Mule stalling. It actually works great in cold weather. Start it up, set the hand throttle to fast idle, and come back in 5 minutes.

Dec 01, 2011 · Remove the black metal cover from the carb and you will see the idle adjust screw on the side of the carb closest to the rear of the machine. Adjust a 1/4 turn at a time. If it grinds going into gear then you have the idle too way to high.
